BBQ Meat in Singapore: Where to Order Smoked Platters for Delivery

4 min read

Mandai Smoke Co. is a home-based smokehouse in Mandai that delivers smoked beef and pork platters islandwide on Saturdays and Sundays. Prices run from S$45 for a single Smoked Pulled Pork (500g) to S$185 for the Chieftain’s Platter feeding 6 to 8 people, with a S$100 order minimum.

What Smoked Meats Are Available

The menu has 13 items: three sharing platters and ten individual cuts and sides. The Hunter’s Platter (S$128, 4-6 pax), Safari Platter (S$165, 3-4 pax) and Chieftain’s Platter (S$185, 6-8 pax) are built for group gatherings and mix the smoked meats below. On their own, you can order Smoked Boneless Beef Short Plate 500g (S$70, the navel end of brisket), Smoked Dino Rib 600-800g (S$80), Smoked Pork Belly 500g (S$45), Smoked Pulled Pork 500g (S$45), Smoked Beef Rillette 150g (S$23) and Smoked Pork Rillette 150g (S$18). Sides are Wicked Slaw (S$6), Ember Corn (S$7), Rustic Mash (S$9) and Golden Rice (S$9). That's the full list, no pork ribs, no sausages, no chicken.

How Much to Order Per Person

Plan for 200-250g of meat per regular eater, more if your group eats heartily, and about half that for children under 12. A Large side feeds roughly 2 people, so a 500g beef or pork item comfortably covers 2-3 regular eaters once you add sides. If you're unsure which cut to pick, the platters solve the maths for you: the Hunter’s Platter at S$128 is built for 4-6 people and already balances meat and sides.

Delivery, Timing and Halal Status

Delivery runs Saturdays and Sundays only, islandwide, with orders closing at 6.30pm the day before (Friday 6.30pm for Saturday delivery, Saturday 6.30pm for Sunday). You pick a 2-hour delivery window between 10.30am and 8.30pm. Delivery costs S$8 under S$150 and is free above S$150, except Sentosa and other restricted locations, which cost extra and don't qualify for free delivery. Our meats are not halal-certified, since pork is smoked in the same kitchen. If you need a pork-free spread, the Smoked Dino Rib, Smoked Boneless Beef Short Plate and Smoked Beef Rillette are your beef-only options.

Reheating What You Order

Everything arrives fully cooked, so reheating is about warming, not cooking. For a quick portion, use the microwave: a microwave-safe dish, a damp paper towel over the meat, medium power, 1-minute bursts, rearranging between each one until it's warmed through. For larger portions, the oven does a more even job: 180°C, loosely covered with foil, 8-12 minutes, pulled when the centre hits 65°C and rested for 2 minutes. Refrigerate within 2 hours of delivery, eat within 2-3 days, or freeze if you need more time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Mandai Smoke Co. halal? No. Our meats are not halal-certified, as pork is smoked in the same kitchen as the beef. The beef-only items, Smoked Dino Rib, Smoked Boneless Beef Short Plate and Smoked Beef Rillette, are the closest pork-free option.

What's the minimum order and delivery cost? The order minimum is S$100. Delivery is S$8 for orders under S$150 and free above S$150, except for Sentosa and other restricted areas, which cost more and don't qualify for free delivery.

How much meat do I need per person? Budget 200-250g per regular eater and up to 250-300g if your group eats more, with about half a portion for children under 12. A Large side feeds roughly 2 people.

Do I need to cook the meat when it arrives? No, everything is fully cooked. You're warming it, not cooking it, either in short microwave bursts with a damp paper towel or in the oven at 180°C until the centre reaches 65°C.
